Yod Hunt #8, where you create the internet phenomenon!

Under threat of strike I am adopting the monkey petitioned rules. You have until Monday night at whatever those rules said to get your entry in. (by the way, I posted this using the moblog feature and a timed email... and just realized I pay for a Typepad account for my other blogs mainly for that feature... oh dear. Too early for me to be posting!)

With this weekend's Yod Hunt you will be creating your own version of various internet phenomena. Photoshop and all other photo editing and illustrating tools are completely legal this week for the entirety of your entry except where limited by the topic. You intarweb pixel hackers can go to town!

As there is actual work involved in this hunt I'm stopping at three topics instead of five. Also, remember that under the new monkey rules that there are awards for each category so if Monday comes around and you don't have all three done, just post what you have.

1. Create a self-portrait using Microsoft Paint and only Microsoft Paint. 100% of the content used in the entry for #1 must be solely generated within Microsoft Paint, that is, you cannot even paste anything in from another program to assist you. If you use a Mac you may use any program you wish to create a similar effect. Please keep in mind the more artistic merit your entry has... the less likely you are going to win!

2. LOLcats are pictures of cats with funny text overlaid... check out I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? for examples of what this looks like. Your assignment is to make a LOLperson or LOLpeople. Take a picture of human(s) and overlay some hilarious text, ahem, expressing what they are doing humorously.

3. Fake celebrity nudes are all over the internet purporting to show our favorite stars in varying states of undress and other more personal activities. Most of them are very very bad and you can tell where they cut and pasted the celebrity's face onto something else. Your job in this topic is to cut and paste a celebrity into a picture. You will be judged on #1 the ridiculousness of the picture and situation and #2 the quality of the paste job. Remember this is a PG blog, so keep the entries CLEAN.
